One of the best practices for preventing the spread of illnesses like the cold or flu is proper hand hygiene. Regularly wash your hands with soap and water in situations like before and after eating, after using the restroom, and after being in crowded areas like buses. Try to avoid touching your face as much as possible to prevent getting possible pathogens from your hands into your mouth, nose, or eyes.
