Unsure of what to do with all that leftover Halloween candy? We came up with a few ideas.

You can:

  1. Get in the Christmas spirit and make ornaments! Find a tutorial for hard candies here, and one for gumdrops here. Or use the candy to make a gingerbread house!

  2. Make shapes and stick figures out of tootsie rolls, starburst, and toothpicks.

  3. Did you know if you soak skittles in water the “s” will float to the surface? You can find this and other cool experiments here.

  4. Start a new tradition! The “Switch Witch” is a plush toy to which you and the kids can offer your candy in exchange for a gift overnight after Halloween. Find out more here.

  5. Just throw it away!
